I am a firm believer that a good bird dog breeder is also an active trainer, hunter, and competitor.  I am very active in AKC and American Field events.  I also take pride in training and compaigning my own dogs.  I get out in the field and watch as many dogs as possible to understand what traits are the most desirible for my breeding program. 

Hunting is the foundation for how I develop my dogs.  Nothing brings a dog to its full potential like wild bird hunting.   Because hunting seasons make up a small portion of the year, I spend a substantial amount of time doing yard work and training on a wide variety of properties.  This page gives a look at what we are up to on this front.
